Ideal treatment for who suffers from any scar on scalp, as no more hair growth is expected around the scar. It is an excellent treatment to combine with a treatment as hair transplant strip excision/FUE treatments, injuries and other scar formation, to fill the gap and increase the hair follicle density.

If you received a hair transplant through strip excision or the most recent FUE methods, there is a very real possibility that significant and noticeable scarring will occur.

PREREQUISITE
Your scar needs to be at least 3 years old. Rule of thumb, your scar should be white, not pink.

HOW IT WORKS
Just like our standard micropigmentation procedures. Tiny pigments are implanted one dot at a time into the superficial layer of your scar to mimic hair follicle, and blend with the rest of your hair. No anesthetic needed. Minimum discomfort.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The first session covers the whole area and will look complete. However, due to the nature of scars, we can never anticipate how scar tissue will retain pigments. Some dots will get “swallowed” by some areas of scar. For that reason, we recommend 2 sessions. The second time we see you, we tackle the empty area in a different way and make it look perfect.

The procedure itself takes about 1 to 3 hours. Your skin may have a little redness from the procedure, which usually disappear within 24 hours.
